The last of the garden harvest ...............to a late fall walk with Reg

to Halloween

to Thanksgiving

to Hanuka, Christmas and New Years....

in 5 minutes?

Here is a little catch up:
It was a smashing good party for Frances
78 family members, a limo and all of her kids
together in one place for the same reason...

To celebrate her 80th B-day. Happy Birthday Mom.

CAF and I flew into Detroit. Carrie picked us up and
we had a great visit with her, stayed at her home:

Partied with Steven and his kids

(who continue to grow up to be nice, fun people)

We had a wonderful time at Thanksgiving at K and JC's house:

Thank you Michael for the sweet B-day gifts and original packaging.
It was almost 70 degrees so we took an ocean walk.

I had an adventure which involved being a visiting artist at Umass Dartmouth.
I gave a presentation to the metals dept. and one on one critiques with the grad students.
It was a pleasure with lots of stimulating conversations.
(Thanks Mis)
I visited Reg and stayed in her sweet home

Also visited with Tom, Ellen, Merita, Claire, Michael, Jae, Kristina and Sophia.
and saw the movie "Hugo" in 3d (really amazing)

November, fall is almost done here on Deer Isle. Mildest week I can remember for this time of year. We went to the meadow and sat in the thin sunshine watching the water and sky eating cucumbers and humus. It was warm(ish) and so beautiful to see the rocks and clouds and birds. A perfect afternoon.

We said good by to Jenny this week, CAF's mom, and to our dear friend Toni.

I feel sick with sadness and filled with the joy of a perfect Sunday afternoon with CAF. Holding it all at once.

My birthday is Thursday, I'll be 53. Want to know what I want?

To be 53.

Good night my little darlings. Next time we meet, let it be a day like this.

3rd prize for the school's effort but #1 in my heart!

As always-good job gang, you are truly the best!
