Being positive is easy when you are positive,
when you feel positive,
when all is all going your way.
The tough part is in the murky, musty, melancholy, messy mad mud.

To get angry, lowered by someones negativity can cut way down your flight time. I want to take full advantage of the still warm currents of the first day of Autumn. The angle of the sun sparkling on the water is beautiful this time of year and the best vantage point is from above the trees.
If you just spread your wings, the wind does most of the work for you.

What's new you may be wondering? Where Has EW been and what has she been up to? I went to Detroit for Steven's big 40 birthday party. I got to see the Aunts, Uncles, some of the Cousins and the Family. The party was during one of the hurricane fall out torrent rain events. That made it even more fun.
Came home last Sunday and went immediately out to school with Reg to set up for our class that started Monday morning at 8:00am. Studio Based Learning 80 high school student for 3 days and 2 nights. We had 10 in our class. Taught metal working using tin cans. Hard work but with great kids we really did have a blast. Above is a cup that Taylor made.
Finished on Wednesday and Marc (who taught blacksmithing), Reg and I went on a one day vacation to Hulls Cove near Bar Harbor for some used tool shopping. We stopped off on the way home for a lobster lunch. Here we are on the back porch having cocktails before dinner at the Whales Rib. In the for ground you can see the sad turn of events which resulted from deer eating the interior of CAF's prize pumpkin. It is now a big candle holder.

Yesterday CAF, MP and I went to the Common Ground Hippie fair in Union. Saw a composting toaster, got some Patchouli gum, talk to a chicken acupuncturist, ate kelp on a stick and saw lots of dread locks, overalls, face paint and heard about some recycled concepts. We all got Peace pins, free seeds, and organic detergent.
This is where MP was staying for the weekend in Belfast. I love it. And it is for sale. I dreamed all night of this little cutie being in our back yard. Sigh. Today I am catching up on Laundry, mail, email, and talking to you. Thanks for checking in. All is well and as the cool evening darkens 2 hours earlier than summers short moments ago, I am baking a chicken and waiting for CAF to return from her garden. She has moved in the cold frame and is planting a last load of salad and such. Love to you. e
