September is zooming by, here are a few highlights from the last few weeks:

The lovely Katy Helman's show
at Lesalle College in MA was excellent congrats!

The EeyBird Guys (Fritz and Stephen) visited the school and left us some Diet Coke and Mentos.
The Common Ground Fair in Union ME was very fun:

And having J and D here was just the best. (look it's you Jo-e)

I can feel that the end of summer is here.
The air and light are different, mornings colder and days shorter. The beautiful leaf changing and low sun light on the surface of the water mid day. We pull the blinds when we get home to keep the light in and dark out. I have a strong urge to make soup.
A melancholy time of year for me, the cup is half full and half empty.

September 9 is my brothers b-day so
HAPPY birthDAY STEVIE- I love you

This month is always very melancholy for me, the sweet summer
standing shoulders against the fall
and we all know what season happens after that...
This September is extra heavy with bittersweet feelings.
First the sweet:
The Blue Hill Fair on Friday:

The one day vacation to Campabello Island in Canada yesterday:

Whale spouting and tiny urchins

BBQ and bonfire, warm sunshine and cocktail parties

Ahhh ya know...... let's just keep it at the sweet.
