The 4th of July is a rare, special fleeting moment here.
July lasts for about 10 minutes in Maine,
and this one is shaping up to be the most rare type.
It's a summer like the kind in fond childhood endless romantic memories.
Filled with a million early morning song birds before the tidal fog burns off,
hot pavement and grass on indifferent bare feet,
firefly, hammock, stargazing, paper plates,
frozen lime pops, swimming
many activities and action rubbing against so much day light.
It smells amazing out side
sun, ocean air, cut grass, and wild roses.
