The bad news,

it's the longest night of the year

The good news,

I got up really early anyway to make my day last longer

in the pitch black journey to the coffee maker

I stepped in dog poo

The good news

I had slippers on

the bad news

I tracked it all across the kitchen

Good news

I didn't let it upset me, I just cleaned it up

Bad news,

I hurt my back

Good news

My coffee was delicious and well deserved.
